About HEPT
HEPT was founded in 1973 as a manufacturer and engineering designer of key equipment for cement, metallurgical and boilers. In 1980 HEPT entered the thermal-power market and by 2005 it had expanded into municipal-waste incineration, supplying key plant equipment and flue-gas-cleaning systems. A capital-led mergers and acquisitions in 2015 refocused HEPT exclusively on solid-waste solutions, positioning it today as one of China’s leading suppliers of core equipment for waste-to-energy plants.
HEPT operates through two dedicated platforms:
- Huaxing East Electric Power – engineering design and technology development
- Anhui Zhongyi – fabrication and precision manufacturing


To date HEPT has engineered and equipped nearly 300 waste-to-energy plants (≈500 incineration lines), supplying air-cooled and water-cooled grates, complete flue-gas treatment systems and boiler auxiliaries. Its technologies are also applied to industrial waste, biomass and coal-fired power projects.
HEPT maintains long-term strategic alliances with world-class technology owners, including GEA (Germany), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Japan) and LAWI (Germany). In adiition, it holds exclusive or co-exclusive technology licences from these partners and is certified as an “A-grade” fabrication source for their incineration and boiler core components.

The engineering centre is located in Liyuan Development Zone of Wuxi, while five manufacturing plants in Wuxi, Xuancheng, Jiaozuo, Taizhou and Jiaozhou give the company one of the largest precision-fabrication capacities in Asia. Its products and services are in operation across mainland China, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Norway and Spain.
As a front-runner in solid-waste equipment manufacturing, HEPT is committed to the continuous development and global deployment of clean-environment technologies as well as high-precision engineered products.

HEPT mainly engages in the field of FGC including fixed spray process, circulating fluidized bed process,  HTCD ® high-efficiency new low-carbon process, rotary spray process, SNCR denitrification process, SCR denitrification process (including low-temperature catalysis), wet (calcium) sodium alkali process, flue gas denitrification process, fly ash transportation process, and fly ash stabilization process.


HEPT’s representative FGC achievements include EP or EPC projects for over 200 incineration plants such as Aituo Ji'an 1x2000 t/d WTE plant. Huaxing was appraised as a benchmark enterprise in the MSW professional service field of China Solid Waste Industry for 7 consecutive years from 2017 to 2022.

Under the guidance of the business philosophy which regards scientific research and markets as equally important, Huaxing East has forged a team of high-quality staff in which major employees are Tongji graduates and built an Industry, Educating and Research base with the Mechanical Engineering College of Tongji University, which mainly studies on the flue gas (exhaust) cleaning treatment technologies. Now, the company has 4 employees with registered titles, more than 20 senior engineers and hundreds of other professionals who have various kinds of technical and economic titles. In addition to following the process design method introduced from European technology, the company has taken a lead in using BIM technology to conduct construction drawing design in the field of new energy and adopting whole workshop manufacturing and production mode of large thermal power standard in the equipment manufacturing of new energy field.
